Since I learned that the word boudoir translates to ,‘sulking-place’, I have been obsessed with the imagery that evokes. Sulking Room is moody, hazy, and perfect for sulking in. A silky french vanilla cappuccino sprinkled with dried rose petals, the faintest memory of dark cherry crème perfume hanging in the air. Sheets of old love letters scattered across the bed, the ghosts of their powdery vanillic scent lingering. A rose coloured haze of incense smoke and sandalwood crème.
Note: Sulking Room is instantly in my top 5 favorite perfumes of all time. I made it for myself! At this point, Lovesick Witchery truly is just Rachie's selfish hours. There is nothing I won't force milky notes, incense, and sandalwood into. The cherry here is quite faint, it's just a sheer wisp of creamy dark romantic cherry. Nothing bright or medicinal here. The smoky notes are not pungent, but soft and cloudy.
